Why does my helicopter have no power? There are two answers to this questionYou have not plugged the charge cable that comes from the battery into the side of the helicopter. Please make sure that the red plug used for charging has been plugged into the socket that is located in the side of the helicopter. To locate this socket please face the helicopter nose cone towards you. The socket is located near the end of the lights on the left side of the helicopter.
The helicopter has no charge. Please make sure that you have given the helicopter a good 2 hour charge and no longer than 3 hours.
Why does my helicopter not move a particular direction? There are a couple of reasons for this. You have a broken part. If the helicopter will not control forwards or backwards please make sure that the helicopter has a complete rear tail rotor and that the tail rotor spins. To check whether the tail rotor is working hold on to the helicopter, apply power to the main blades with the left joystick and then press forwards/ backwards on the right joystick.
You are out of trim. Check on the controller that the trims on the right of the controller are all central. The two trims beside the right joystick should be located in the centre of the slider bar. The dial on the top right of the remote control should be facing directly upwards towards the R.
The lights on my helicopter are working but the helicopter blades will not spin? This helicopter have a safety feature built in so that if the helicopter is not placed on the ground for the initial flight after being turned on, no signal will be received from the controller. Please also make sure that the controller lights are not continually flashing.
Why do the lights on my controller continually flash? The way to stop this from happening is by checking to make sure that the throttle and the throttle trim on the left hand side of the controller are all the way down.
What are the slider bars for? These slider bars are known as the trims. Before you turn the controller on please make sure that the trims and joysticks replicate the controller shown in the diagram below, then turn your controller on. Once you are flying, you can start playing with the trims. The bottom right trim will adjust the directional control. So if you want the helicopter to turn to the right faster than you can slide the slider to the right more and vice a versa. Same with the forwards backwards trim. The top right dial is a fine trim for the left right direction.
What is the difference between the beginner mode and the pro mode? Beginner mode will only give you 70% of the power from the battery. Once set on pro you will receive 100% of the battery power.
Why will my helicopter only last 7 minutes or less? If you are flying on beginner or with the power trim all the way down this is the maximum time you will get. To get the full time out of the battery you will need to be flying on pro with the power trim all the way up. If you are only learning this is not a problem. Start with the power trim all the way down and the beginner switch pushed in. Once the helicopter starts to lose power, unclick the beginner mode and push the power trim all the way to the top. This enabling more power.
Why is my tail rotor not working? The only time the tail rotor works is if you are trying to move forwards. It will not working when you are just hovering. You need to have the right joystick engaged forwards or backwards for the tail rotor to work.
