Battery Conditions
With the new Li-Po batteries you will notice a couple of changes compared to other battery types.
1. Li-Po batteries have a much faster charge rate and longer flight time then the other rechargeable batteries.
2. Please note that when storing the batteries you should fully charge the batteries before storing as this will give you a longer storage time.
3. When in storage your helicopter should still be used every 2 - 3 weeks to ensure the batteries are still fine.
4. If you leave your helicopter for months on end or completely flatten your battery you can damage your battery. Reason for this is when your Li-Po battery is fully discharged as there is no power there to keep the battery cells in tact they start being damaged. Resulting in a battery that will either not work or will only fly for a short amount of time.
5. These batteries should not be charged for any longer than specified.
6. When flying the helicopter you will notice that when the battery is going flat your helicopter will come down to the ground and will not lift or will lift slightly. Do not fly your helicopter any longer as this will damage your battery. Charge from this point.
